i mostly use 850mhz in almost everything. and runs solid. i also have 1ghz and 1.15ghz settings ready on my OC desktop just in case (use those for playing vgba with smooth sounds and images)

Re: Overclock and Pr 1.2
Titan's kernels revert to stock settings at every reboot so its pretty safe to try different configs to see which is most stable for your device, if you cause it to crash it will just boot back up the next time at stock, i personaly have found my device stable across the whole range of freqs with ideal config, however all devices are different so start conservatively and work your way up slowly would be my advice.

Re: Overclock and Pr 1.2
So i set my config for 500-900 mhz for a while as freq then turned it back to 500 -850 just to be sure not to do too much damage. All seems to be working well and no crashes so far.
However : i noticed that battery life decreased much faster after overclocking. Is there any way to avoid all this? Or should I just deal with it and carry my solar charger with me at all times? Also : i tried changing it to 250 - 900 but conky still shows it as 500 - 900. probably because 250 is being avoided. Anyway to change this or should i just not mess around with that? edit : just encountered my first crash while using transmission as torrent client and playing a videa at the same time. Several reboots didnt work then after fourth try it worked again. Figured out how to set it to 250-850 lets see if it doesnt reboot now. |
