Limit log on time / postings per ip-address on this forum so that the members and their maemo devices are obliged to surf elsewhere or get some fresh air every 12 hours or so.

Nokia should hire someone for the maemo.org community (like the distmaster and the bugmaster) who have to ensure, that every maemo user does have sex at least every 12 hours. This could be accomplished by using the frontcam (or the 5mp cam on the N900 for higher resolution) as automatic streaming device.
If you're not proving your maemo device gets disabled.
That would help the community because the user would be much more balanced.

But no, mostly they just want to complain so that the desired feature will appear automagically.

Many posts are very speculative, aren't they? May be it would be less, if more firmware would be leaked or more official announcements would be published...
We could use some suggestions from the Netiquette in the Wiki and displayed before submitting a post, like: Find sources before you post!

Tried using the full advanced search? It's on par with every other forums search engine.


If you can't work out the search.. that's probably a good thing.

This not an entierly bad request. But i don't know what could be done better. Over all this is a nice and helpful community though in some cases it can get hot.

When people write supid and untoughtful posts then they will be corrected. And sometimes hard words will occurr especially if the question already have been asked. There is no other way in doing this.

Moderators should receive mandatory training on how to handle online group discussions. It might not work, but at least it should be tried.

Just to get to attention, "making sex" might mean a very pleasurable experience... Or a very humiliating and painful one. For heterosexual males it depends mostly on which body parts are used.

"Making sex" with Mike Tyson every twelve hours will NOT help these forums become better.

Human anatomy is the same no matter which sexual orientation. Nerves are in the same places and connected the same way. So I guess that neither homo- nor heterosexual males would enjoy feeling those teeth. (If that's what you were thinking of when making this comment about Mike Tyson.)

Well I would be interested in giving some rather specific feedback on how these forums work. Not so much on how admins or other members should behave but more on how the Forum behaves.

What is the most suitable thread for this?

Judging by some of their posts it also may be more frequent than every 12 hours. :eek:
