Update again... v28-v31 had issues. v32 seems fine. See the "Oveclocking the N900" thread for details.

Re: Random Reboots with new kernel-power-flasher
i had this problem yesterday. ive had to reflash everything coz of it. Wont be installing that again. I was getting application errors, it was acting up big time. I tried taking battery out cold booting it. Even tried to uninstall some things wouldn't work. Wifi wasnt working either. Completely wrecked it all.
Now i gotta start from scratch :( had all my settings an apps...... |

Re: Random Reboots with new kernel-power-flasher
hi guys,
sry, but I don't get it with this version stuff. I'm using my n900 since tuesday, "uname -a" prints: Linux Nokia-N900-51-1 2.6.28-omap1 #1 PREEMPT Thu Dec 17 09:40:52 EET 2009 armv71 unknown When searching for the kernel-power-flasher in program manager I'll get infos about: program: Linux kernel updater for an enhanced Maemo 5 kernel 2.6.28.10 version: 2.6.28-maemo24 So which version has this flasher? Is it v24? Should I install this flasher? Is it stable? Should I upgrade the kernel somehow? In general, I'm interested in using ISO9660. Thx in advance :) |
