He just said he'll provide sources and help - not in actual development. At least that's how I understood that sentence.

that's more than sufficient.
if Smoku receive the new source and the plugin everything is okay..

Does Smoku have a blog or something? I'm wanting to be keeping my self updated (I'm not holding my breath, nor requiring progress updates, though progress updates would be nice)

This is great that there has been some communication and that the source can be available. Not to create any pressure for Smoku as we all here know that changing things take WORK and TIME, but would those who had been interested in donating consider supporting Smoku with donations if ZodTTD isn't open to them? I'm personally willing to support both who have done great things for gaming emulation, so hats off to you both!!

Off topic but have to comment about smoku's avatar. I'm not sure if it is clear to anyone else but I'm just mesmerized staring at it trying to figure out what it is. Cow nose ring? Hind quarters of some rodent? A pair of rolled up diplomas? Anyways, I've happily contributed to your efforts sir!
