So does this mean, the new version will have level packs 2 & 3. So what about the one i bought yesterday ( Level Pack 1). Will it work on the New version????

Just received a call from Nokia MEA about this Game. It is going to be released soon at Ovi. :)

seems the free version of angrybirds is no longer posted on the ovi store or the repo.


i remember someone stating that they back up all thier deb files before installation completes.


can someone please post the FREE version of angry birds for us to dl who may have it, or maybe some instructions for extracting it from one handset (as a copy) to install on another device?

again, this is the free version, not the level pack 1 which is paid for.

I can't help you there ceroberts75 (I don't back it up myself) but the reason why it's not up there is because Ovi has a stupid process of removing the older file when updating to the newer one.

In other words, Rovio (developers of Angry Bird) submitted Level Pack 2, which requires updating the original game (Angry Birds) and Ovi stupidly removes the original game while the (approval?) process is working.

Second, I've looked for it yesterday from both phone and pc, not available in Ovi anymore :(
(Just hadn't regged here yet to moan about it)

*edit* crossed LM's post, thanks for clearing that up!
Any idea how long that process usually takes, iow how long until we can download AB(free) again?

I'm in the same situation, I've written an email to Ovi support already.
We will see what will be the reaction :)

I was so angry (birds) :) in today morning, when I bought the level pack, after I realize, it wasn't on my device, and wasn't in the OVI store.

Fingers cross , maybe it will be put back in Ovi store :)

They will put it as soon as your mail is recived and also a big apology on the main screen!
