Shipment Dates
 

Can those who have recieved their Nokia 770s please tell us when they placed their orders and when they received it. This way we can hopefully approximate the date of arrival for our orders.

a while back we were all being told Dec 1. when and why did that one change?

I placed my order on 4th November (it was Friday) and received it on 9th. :) I took the cheapest delivery type that was bit slower than the other one. But I don't think this will give you any hint about when your order will arrive since there are some problems with the delivery now. UPS was doing the delivery so I guess that when you get the message that the package has left there isn't much variation in the delivery times.

And yes... I'm from Finland (forgot to mention this at first)

Perhaps also mention their location, Europe, USA, etc...

Ordered on the 4th, was shipped on tuesday and according to the tracking info it's now sitting at home waiting for me to get home from work.

ordered on the 9th of November, showing as shipped today. I'm in the UK.

Ordered Nov 4th from Germany and arrived Dec 1st. Long journey though. The device is labled "Made in Germany" and came from Belgium. These units are the first ones shipped to Germany ever.

Firmware is still 1.2005.42-9

a few minutes ago a woman from nokia called me (i was sitting in the bus and was understanding nothing, so i left the bus) for new card information after the old expired in november. she said that the tablet will shipped tomorrow - i hope so. now i have 4 summeries of my order in the postbox but no written status.

Just called Nokia to check on my order placed Nov 18 which showed it to be available on Dec 14. The Nokia rep just said now it won't be available until Jan 6. I thought it was only newer orders that would not ship until Jan 6.

Bought at CompUSA and cancelled at Nokia
 

Saw it in store on Saturday at CompUSA and bought it (New York, 8th Ave). Then cancelled my Nokia order (from Nov 14). Maybe Nokia is just waiting for everybody who ordered from them to buy at CUSA and cancel the original order?

I was doing some gift shopping, and had to buy something for myself. Nice little machine!
