There were problems with devel repository under pr 1.2 ... for myself, many apps didnt install even when the app manager said everythink is fine. And I wasnt alone.

Whats the situation around devel now?

I dont have DEVEL enabled now, after making such mess in my system I was unable to install almost anything, I reflashed my device and now, Im only running with testing ...

I have noticed that a few applications like Offscrn Solitaire and iNES and others now lag (have lower fps) after the PR1.2... hopefully those can be fixed by the application maintainers and that it's not PR1.2's fault...

i have a rather bizarre annoyance/bug since updating to pr1.2 - i have no wi-fi/3g data connection icons in the status bar! both are still functioning, so i can connect via my home wi-fi or O2 internet (uk) 3g access point with no problems, but the symbols showing that fact are no longer appearing! any ideas?!. the headphones and gps symbols still appear ok.

i upgraded OTA and didn't appear to have any problems. i haven't noticed any particularly degrade in the performance of my N900 - browsing is as good as it was before the update. i have very little extras installed, and nothing from the extras-devel or extras-testing catalogues.

i also noticed a previously reported bug about IM - yahoo/msn contacts do not show if you use new IM from the conversations app - skype contacts still show ok for me though. IMs via yahoo/msn can be done from the contacts list itself.

Don't know if anyone els has this problem/bug but my browser stopped working as I already said here:

Auto portrait is only for Phone and for the browser (with a setting change i believe).
For the other applications changing orientation is a bug/feature which requires a ctrl+shift+r to work every new instance.

Same for me. And for me the apps arent even sorted by size. I cant even figure out on what basis they are sorted on.
This was a really silly change.

Note to you and myself.
I only Flashed fiasco/rootfs so when i restarted all skype/gtalk/facebook accounts were intact BUT i didn't get skype video call and only way to make video call was to first call from my laptop (it has webcam) and then select camera from answering screen on n900. Had to disable skype and re enable it so that it fetched contacts again from server and now i have video call option on my skype contacts. (also remember to check in contacts option, upper menu, that video calling option is checked)
