I'm sorry I bothered, this problem wasn't pr 1.2 related at all. Jan Hnilas solution on this thread solved the problem after all:

I cant get my gmail to work. Anyone with step by step suggestions? I tried wizard, selected gmail as my server and used imap4 settings. Nada, Nicht, Nein

Have you activated IMAP on your gmail account? Also, are you sure that your network is not blocking the access to certain ports?

I also have a problem with 'My Nokia'...keeps crashing when i try to open it but I was told there is no much functionality in there. For menu customisation, do a long press on any icon to get to manipulation mode. Then select an icon and tap where u want to place it. Press done on the right hand corner when u r finished.

I now have the same issue... had this two updates ago :( I can see WIFI, though it just doesn't connect.

Anyone else having this issue :confused: Flashed using the standard method with the global release.

do the default clients work, i.e. gtalk, skype, facebook?
