pls someone post a download link, it is free so it is nothing illegal. what is the difference between here and ovi ?? my country is not supported so what do i do??

Just copy this text into a new file and rename it to kroll.install, then copy it to your N900 and in the file manager click on it. Kroll will install through the program manager.

Nice graphic, I was worried that N900 being a single-touch device will suffer, but control is not an issue at all. Gameplay is a little weak after 2 levels, there are only 3 types of attack without any kind of combination (single-touch comes to mind...). Besides, hard difficulty is too easy..... Still a good game to me, though.

This free version you cannot select "insane" difficulty and can only play "chapter 1." There are two more chapters so it seems like there will be additional level pack or full version available some time later.

I do feel it is free at the moment as its only a demo and level packs will be chargeable

That's odd. I beat the game at Normal difficulty last night and can now select 'Insane' just fine?

Did anyone else's phone "hang" for a few mins while Kroll was downloading / installing? Mine was non-responsive to the point of mild panic for approx 10 mins before installation completed - no other tasks would run / touch screen not working etc.

Yes it did. It also 'hung' the first time I got to the boss level of Chapter 1, causing me to die without having chance to even defend myself, which was a laugh. It's been fine since then, though.

Cheers Tigerite - mine also now appears to be restored to health. Recent dabbling with OC'ing to 700mhz had me paranoid / wondering whether I'd fried the little chap!

Back on topic - Kroll, very decent graphics and free - any grumbling over easy/repetative gameplay would feel churlish in light of the lack of cost :)

For the not-available-in-your-country-problem just change your country and language settings in your OVI profile to United States and English (US). That's all.
No need to trick some browser with agent switcher.

Even though it`s free, I don`t understand enough of laws but, I guess it`s not legal. Depends of the country you are, it might be still copywright protected. If I were the developer, as long as it`s free, I wouldn`t mind, but I am not..

Hi,
I went through Normal Chapters 1-3 but for after I finish Hard Chapter 1 my phone won't remember that I beat it and won't let me into Hard Chapter 2.

Yeah, the game definitely has a bug. It's not saving the levels. I think the game ends differently once you've finished all 3 levels of difficulty (my guess). I'd be willing to give it a try but I don't want to play it all the way through in one sitting.

On Hard level 2 You have to kill the boss in level 1 and actually finish Level 2 Chapter 1 in order for it to remember that you passed Level 1.

I thought it would be the same thing for level 2 so I passed the Hard level 2 boss and finished Hard level 3 chapter 1 but if I exit out of the game it doesn't remember that had already finished Boss level 2.

There's replay value if the levels get harder but I don't want to play in one sitting and its frustrating if it doesn't remember the levels.

Otherwise, I like the graphics and the fact that to repeat a stroke you don't physically have to lift your finger off the screen. Somehow it registers the pressure sensitivity and can do multiple hits by pulsing actions. I like that.

so after beating the game at normal u can just unistall it the game is just repeating itself with colored monsters as if we cant recognize the new colored ones, also saving is a problem u have to play the level to access to the actual level u left from
i'm thinking of uninstallig it but i'm afraid if it has diff. ending or it might get an extra levels if u can remember at the end of the long lenght game t was saying (end of book 1) so maybe book 2 is ''kroll 2 : back to touch''
and did any1 get the story ? in the game it says (to save her) who is she ? and who is his father ? but anyway very nice graphics

Nice to see this game in the Ovi store.

Great graphics, and good use of touchscreen controls..

but shame about the gameplay which is essentially:
* run forward a bit
* mash fight buttons
* repeat, with the occasional enemy coming up behind for a slight 'challenge'.

find the app just type these commands in x-terminal

sudo gainroot
apt-get install aptitude
aptitude install kroll

this way you will get kroll like i did …..

Same happens to me. I beat hard and insane all the way through, and got an option for "The Dark Warrior" but then had to quit and all got reset. Grrr..

Ouch, that is brutal. I went to their support page and submitted a bug. Let's hope they fix it fast.

I'll just play it through again later. I didn't even lose all my lives completely between starting hard and finishing insane, and I'm far from great at the game, it's just a bit easy ;) oh, and it might have been "The Dark Soldier", I can't remember now; it appeared on the right-hand side of the Normal, Hard, Insane options in place of Chapters, anyway.

No wonder I couldn't play Chapter2 & 3 at first try when I passed Chapter 1 with Hard.

Again shows us OVI Q/A sucks...

Okay wow that was a huge install.

Anyway, I'm having trouble killing the crabs behind me. I turn around, hit punch and then the dude turns to the roght again and swings to the right. What am I missing here?

There are fight buttons on the left side of the screen too. You can use those to attack enemies that show up behind you.

guys help, i neeed this game so bad, but i can't get it, it says 'item not avaible for your country', why ?? i live in lebanon, i tried changing my region to the uk in the phone settings, but i still can't download it, it always says that this item isn't avaible for your country, anyone knows why, i want this game so bad, anyone can help ????
