same here...tried to install NSU but it cudnt find the phone. any suggestion? i also downloaded the pc suite but it keeps on searching for the device but fails to find it....:(

Did you hold key 'u' on N900's keyboard when connected it to your computer via usb? Also, your Nokia has to be switched off before you attempt to conncet it.

i would flash if i wasn't such a maemo & n900 noob and the 12 hours night shift won't help me either to learn "how to" unless i am learning "how to" brick my new n900:p

I did not know there were so many North America N900 users. there are currently 108 users viewing this thread. I'm sure not all of you are from NA but even 50% of that is considered a lot.
