Well, with Qt running across Nokia's platform, it'll make it easier to create apps that can be easily transferable to each platform. There should be more on it's way.

Like before, it doesn't take my credit cards. I suspect that it's because I'm currently living in Lithuania and my credit cards are foreign. I have the same issue with TomTom. Apparently Lithuania is in some kind of black list when it comes to using foreign credit cards. Quite annoying...

Still couldn't see it on the N900 browser, so tried on my PC but had to search for it as it was still not listed. Just tried the "Send to my mobile" link and waiting for the SMS so I can purchase it........it's almost like Nokia doesn't want our money sometimes

I don't know if they are using your IMEI somehow, if that's the case then no. Otherwise, yes.

Nope, until they decide to pull the switch on the server. I'm pretty much unwilling to purchase or at least pay serious money for any sort of copy-protected content or programs that require the use of an activation service, as my ability to access that content could be impacted in the future based on a large number of factors. A lot of people have gotten bitten purchasing music online when some company decides they no longer want to be in the music biz, get bought out and shut down, change to a new platform, etc.

I'm more than a little confused. I was under the impression that we were expecting an ota update to our n900 which would give us access to most if not all of the ovi store. Is this the case? or are nokia updating the store itself bit by bit with new applications specifically for the n900?

You already have access to the full OVI store. They are adding apps, one after another.

Thanks for the link, now I know why I can't see any paid app on my Ovi Store. They aren't available for my country (Brazil), even though I've chosen USA as my country on my account. I guess it checks my IP or something...

I can only hope that this upgrade to the store will be followed very shortly by the introduction of a number of good unique fun games ... I don't want the world, but 5-10 nice new games really wouldn't hurt!

Hey, did you know it took about 6 months for Android to get paid app market? Our position isn't much different.

IDK, ask Nokia, the developers.

My question is why can't the developer's put it on their websites like Toshl, Mozilla and Opera do?

Nokia clearly corrected that false story by clarifying that there were 100,000 N900s sold in 5 (FIVE) weeks. Please use another excuse.

1. That would be illegal

2. Buy to support developers

3. Level are not ready yet . I've emailed Rovio and here is the response :)

Thanks for your email. Yes we hope to add more levels to the N900 version as soon as possible. We’ve been just waiting for it to become 100% staying available on the N900 before we started to port the levels.
