PYCAGE,did you use your n900 to take those picture?Because my photos when i use my n900 are hazy and a bit blue. What did you do to correct the problem,(if you had the same one)?I have installed the P.R 1.2 by the way.

Turn off the flash and find good lighting.

And what about the noise in the picture??Because it still remains even if I disable the flash. It's less but it still exists. Are there any hardware or software settings or something like that which improve the quality of the camera?

Use the lowest ISO setting. Again, for that you need good light or some sort of tripod.

That's a thought! We need a tripod socket on the N900! Shame they didn't think of that last June. Awesome pixs a few posts back.

Picture quality, though measurable is pretty subjective. My wife got a really good shot outdoors with her Nuron, a 2 mp camera. We cropped it and printed it 8x10 and it still looked great. As was pointed out earlier, plenty of good light is a must. Available darkness photography takes a steady hand and willingness to be adventurous with the settings.

Yes, these pictures were all taken end of April with the N900. For the night shots I was using a low ISO level (200 IIRC), and I tried different exposure times (the N900 doesn't give you much options there).
The blue haze appears when using the flash light. For night shots, you don't use flash light anyway (force it off, it the N900 thinks it needs it).

And most important, don't forget to focus. Press the camera button half way down to focus, and then press it fully to take the photo. Putting the N900 on a stable ground helps with image quality, too.
Take a lot of photos with different settings, compare them, and keep the best.

Thank u all.But I was just wondering if there is any way like we used to do with the led patterns where we mod a file(i don't remember the name of it)and then we saved it with the same name. And then.....puff...the color, the blinking everything changed as we wanted when we had an incoming sms or incoming call or incoming e-mail or anything like that.
