Re: Calendar Home Widget replacement

Could you please highlight the current day events like the normal calendar widget does?

new version 0.5:
I think I fixed the bug with the multiday events
I changed the calendar-size selection, to support all
values from 1 to 9
I look at the current theme for the widget
background. (I don't know how to handle the
applet icon, are those icons not themeable?)

I'm sure the calendar applet icon is in 48x48, but either way definitely themeable

It's replacable, but NOT themeable (you cannot make the icon to change with the current desktop theme). And I think that was the thing the developer wanted to know.

It's not a good idea to overwrite any system default icons 'coz such action would be visible with or without this applet and with any theme currently selected.

My apologies, I completely misunderstood

LOL Not only that it's in 64x64 as well!

No worries, all the best guys and thanks for all your hard work.

as soon as the current event is over.

May I make an objection ?
I'm thinking of some short events (15-30 min) like if work in the field or multiple meetings is you daily business.
If you are late for some reason and the dates get delayed, there would not be a reminder of your undone work anymore.
IMO it should be an option only to hide "past" events of the day, maybe for the hole day or just if they are older than x hours ?

Apart from that - if the new (fantastic) layout-features (9 lines) of the widget are not enough, and you really need just that single line of a past event, maybe the widget is not the perfect solution  ;)

Re: Calendar Home Widget replacement

I've noticed that past events aren't removed until the nex day
If I make an event for 1:00 to 3:00 PM it stills in the widget at 4:00 PM
Default calendar removes it when its finished

(sorry for my bad english)
