If the problem is in the calendar database, you could try deleting the birthdays calendar with:

(I changed the start time, so the birthday is on this day) And both entries are correctly shown. I can not reproduce this behavior. |
Re: Calendar Home Widget replacement
First of all thanks Nicolai for all your work on this!
Just today I noted an anomaly on my widget. I have a repeating event, every Monday (all day, no alarm) with only the upcoming event showing. Today for some reason it is showing it to be on the Sunday before the event. If I show all recurrences it shows them all to be on Sundays including into May. Let me know if you need any more info. Cheers, Phil |

You know the way you can have your calendar 'shared' with someonelse. In Google Calendar you might have, let's say, two calendars: yours, the main one in blue and another one, the shared one, coloured in pink. As you sugested you can define new calendars using 'Settings' and you can define there their colours and visibility but I remind you that only N900 would be marked with 'syncronised' and the rest would be 'Local' type calendars. As you know, in Erminig-NG you can define how many 'calendar profiles' you want. i.e: two calendar google accounts from/to where you can syncronise your calendar. Apologies, maybe this would be a question more for Erminig-NG developers (I will put it there too): how we can associate different colours to different calendars syncronised to/from two calendar google accounts? It would make more sense to have differentiate them using different colours in Home Calendar Widget, as Google is doing it Enjoy the weekend, Stefan |

Hello to all the knowing :D
Today I recognized my Calendar-Widget is kind of broken  Attachment 19160 Not only the widget doesn't show the current day correct (thin white line wich seperates today from future), but also yesterday. Also there are various errors with birthdays: Werner: should be April 5th (today) - wrong - showed up as "today" yesterday Gerhard: should be April 5th (today) - wrong - showed up as "today" yesterday Birgit: should be April 6th (tomorrow) - wrong Caro: April 9th - correct Iris: should be April 10th - wrong Annelies: April 13th - correct Heike: should be April 14th - wrong I've deleted and recreated Smart-Calendar in Stock-Application, deactivated and activated Birthdays in Widget, deleted and recreated Widged, edited Contacts and saved, rebooted - nothing changed. I do NOT sync Calendar with Outlook, Ovi-Suite, Google or something else, it's on my N900 only. Birthdays are shown on correct date in Calendar-Application and stock-widget Any idea  M_99 |

I did have the same problem, see a few posts before. Seems like it can't be solved by the author of the widget . . . |

I don't believe in something like a "timezone-bug" - all my birthdays were created at the same timezone at the same time - but not all are displayed wrong... CU - M_99 |
Re: Calendar Home Widget replacement
Hi M_99,
thank you for reporting this. I think this a problem is related to the latest switch to daylight saving time, as four other users reported this bug in the last week. The problem is, I can not reproduce it. Can you give me some more info on: - Your timezone is GMT+2, right - Do you use automatic time settings - How did you enter your contacts birthdays (in the addressbook)? (Did you enter them manually or did you use any software for importing contacts and/or importing contacts birthdays only). regards Nicolai @Carlito, no I can not solve it yet, but I am working on this. Edit: And what cal-home-widget version do you use? 1.1 or 1.0 |
Re: Calendar Home Widget replacement
Manually added the birthdays who are conflicting. Also removed them and added them again. No succes.
Timezone is GMT+2 (because of DST else it's +1) and using automatic time settings. version I'm using is 1.1 thanks in advance! |
