This is such an amazing, useful improvement. Very well done.

My only suggestion is that if the font or background color of the week tabs (W31 etc.) in the month view were changed, it could improve fast readability by isolating the days from the tabs.

that is because of the theme you're using. i'm using rhe carbon theme and the week tabs look different then the days do in the month view

That was it. They were less differentiated with the Array theme.

I've been using this widget since it was released and haven't had any troubles. Could it perhaps be ready to be moved to extras-testing? This widget is just so much more useful than the stock calendar widget so it should really be made available for "the masses".

make some changes. But I don't
have the time to do so.
Now I have promoted the widget

I'm getting a strange error using the widget here..I got an "All day" event for tomorrow, but the widget says it is today...The stock widget doesn't have any issues, shows it as normal. When I open the calendar the event is set normally as well...

Yes, this is intentional. I wanted to focus on
calendar events only. It is a little bit difficult
to decide what would be the best way to
integrate todos in the event list.

Really like this widget thanks. Is it possible to configure recurring events to only display the next occurrence instead of all within the display range? It's the only thing I think the standard widget does better.

But if I'm not wrong the original widget used to show also the todos at the bottom. Also because they become useless if they're not shown.
I think there should be at least an option to enable todos in CHW.

I noticed that pressing the day icon opens today's events, pressing the day name opens week view and pressing the entries opens moth view, I didn't know :D

It is happening with two all-day events that coincidentally are on Saturday and were created with the builtin calendar, but before installing the widget. However, new all-day events created don't seem to have this issue, being or saturday or not...

Also, it should be noted that I've installed recently erminig, but the 2 events with the issue were not on my Google Calendar when I noticed the issue

A bit of bump but I'd have a suggestion of what to implement to the next version of CHW : ability to disable dates from events. What I mean is that one could simply see one date to multiple items that are dated to the same date. I find it well, not odd nor irritating but I'd say out of place in here, to have same date visible multiple times. Sure, this is noted on Today but not on other dates.

Great app otherwise, quite literally dominated the original widget from the N900. Width-adjustment and portrait-support (see DrLaunch) would also be nice but maybe not so necessary (for now). :D

But i cant see any Task in the Widget. I set the Settings " Events / Task " and i create a Task with the buid-in (default) Calendar.

Hi,

I am still testing this feature.
Are you sure, you have enabled the calendar (color) where
your task are in?
It does not work well at the moment. For example, the widget
is configured to only show events from the next two weeks.
But it shows all open tasks.

I see, it works for Task ( tomorrow, next week etc. ) but not for Today-Task.

New Version 0.9.2

* This version fixes a bug with allday-events. Yesterday Allday events
from gmail calendar, synced with erming-ng were shown
as today allday events.
* New option for recurrent events, to only show the first
upcoming instance.
* New options for tasks, but only upcoming tasks are shown, no
old undone tasks. You can select between different modes:
- Events only
- Tasks only
- Events and tasks.

Right now my calendar home widget shows every private events (green) from this month to next month, but it is not showing any n900 events (blue) even 2 days from now. they are recurrent events like meeting every tuesday morning. i tried various options but they just won't show anymore.

after todays upgrade i have a small problem.

i have birthday at my calendar today, but it show in the widget gthat the date is 25th. maemo calendar is 26th which is correct.

it might just conflict be conflict today, but i just wanted to inform you.

+1 (Edit: ) on problems, not specifically Holidays.

I have a recurring meeting every monday and thursday and currently (monday, after todays meeting) the widget shows only this recurring meeting, thursday 09/30, monday 10/04, etc, but none of the others (which do occur today (monday), tomorrow, wednesday, thursday after the recurring meeting and friday. All these are in the same calendar, which is the N900 calendar, which I sync with two other calendars.

Edit: If I change it to only show one occurrence of recurring meetings, all I get in the widget is the one occurrence and nothing else. I upgraded to latest version about an hour ago.
