PR1.2 Camera closes with operation failed
Hey everyone. Upgraded to PR1.2 from 1.1.1 couple of days ago and the camera app hasn't worked since. I have flashed both FIASCO and eMMC images twice to no use.
I have diagnosed the problem a bit. It sees that omap3camd for /dev/video0 gets started fine at boot but it crashes when I open the camera for the first time. If started again with command omap3camd -d /dev/video0 I get "bus error" message from it when opening camera again. I can use gst-launch to view video by piping /dev/video0 to xvimagesink with no problems. I am at a loss about what to do next. If anyone has any ideas on howto fix this, your input is greatly appreciated. |
Re: PR1.2 Camera closes with operation failed
reflash emmc, and rootfs - do NOT restore settings! settings from PR1.1 seem to cause problems with PR1.2.

Managed to fix the problem. Uninstalled omap3camd and purged it. Then reinstalled and after reboot camera started working.

Re: PR1.2 Camera closes with operation failed
I know the cam give me "failed operation" when I am using FLASH LIGHT while taking pictures. When Flash light is turn off, it work again. Video cam work fine with flash light or not but taking pictures failed with FLASH LIGHT ON!!
