t-mobile 3g stoped functioning?
 

I have an n900 with T-mobile Even More Plus with a data plan. I have had 3G/3.5G solidly since December until yesterday. Since yesterday I only get 2.5G. This is in West Lafayette IN. Last week I traveled to DC and was intermittently switching between 2.5G and 3G/3.5G.

Has anybody else noticed this? Is T-mobile turning 3G/3.5G on/off. It can't be that I am being throttled since my data counter says only about 7Gbyte total since I bought the phone in December and my usage is pretty uniform (i.e. the bulk of that was not over the past month). Is it possible for the 3G/3.5G radio to burn out without the 2.5G radio burning out?

Are you sure you are still on the Tmobile network? When i go out of town I roam on our county's local carrier and when I get back into town I am sometimes still on their network.

Try going to Settings -> Phone and manually selecting your network.
