Re: Maemo Mapper and maemo-mapper-topomaps-fi

What would be the "official" thread to report bugs in Mappero?
I've found a few during the week when I was using it every day abroad loading maps in hotel room via WLAN and using it then in offline mode on the road. I could of course make a tickets in bugzilla.maemo.org also, but I'd prefer to discuss about them in somewhere first.

The most annoying bug is how Mappero can bring whole N900 down also in offline mode, if microB and camera are used as the same time.

As Mappero webpage says, the project page is here: https://garage.maemo.org/projects/maemo-mapper/
You can directly file bugs in the bug tracker, or for discussion you can use the forums.
I do actually search for "mappero" here in talk.maemo.org from time to time, but mostly for discussing; if you have some bugs to report please use the tracker, of they'll probably get lost.

It's not Mappero. It's any application using a lot of memory. What happens is that the device starts to swap pages of memory, and during that time it's mostly unusable. I'll try to reduce Mappero memory consumption, but in any case that wouldn't fix the "bug", because the device would still hang if you open a fourth application.
