problem after installing mymenu

hi all,

i installed mymenu earlier on, and decided i didnt like it , so i uninstalled it.

problem is that all my apps icon are gone. ok i found a solution, that is to install catorise.

did it, but i really would like to just have the original menu back, with no category , just a page full of apps.

is there a way i can do that? restoring the page back to its original form?

thanks

Try installing something after removing catorise.

try this. In xterm:

You need to do this (I'd suggest if not sure, before and after uninstall)

A full reflash + emmc will also fix your problems.

When you uninstall Catorise, it restores the menu as it found it - meaning that if MyMenu broke it (and doesn't kindly restore it on uninstall) you are best off either:
  1. Getting /etc/xdg/menus/hildon.menu off a clean image (or SDK) and copying it to your device. Getting the file wrong can cause reboot loops though.
  2. Reflash.
