Internet Connection Issues
 

Hi all.

Since updating to the 1.2 firmware my N900 is having issues when it comes to using the internet on my phone.

It will connect fine but sometimes just will not download anything, cannot load any web pages etc. If i disconnect and reconnect a few times it will then work fine again for a little while then drop off.

I am using GPRS on UK o2 contract.

This is really becoming a pain in the *** as it worked fine before and was great!

I havent installed anything that could cause an issue, the only software im really using is fmms.

Phew, thanks for the reply mate. Glad its not just me then. Anyone got a workaround for this?

try in xterminal ls -a
u will see all the filedirectories in ur phone stored one of them is .mozilla.
whenever i had a problem with internet loading pages etc. i remove that directorie by typing rm -r .mozilla after a reboot the browser will be faster as never before beleive me!
Only thing is that u have to reinstall adblockplus if u where using it!(dont use the one in extra but powersearch for version1.1.1)

That worked a treat mate thanks for that. Will let you know if i have any other issues.

Does the weather widget also use mozilla to download data as well? As that wasnt updating either but is now.
