jean2323, Yes, but if you use it in car then you probably keep it constantly attached to charger.
.edit And the other hand you can share the load between two devices so that they keep going longer. ..edit And next user named windows7 shows how to make post that has information value approaching lim x->inf 1/x |

Go and bugger off to the forum of some phone review site, and don't troll these forums. I know this post isn't really helpful. Still, if you want the opinion of this community, go to IRC and ask them. |

why don't you get the Nokia E72? The battery life is fantastic, it has good maps and built-in navigation.

Re: need some advice on what phone to change to
I use a nokia e72(and e71+n810 before that) for exactly this purpose and either tether n900 through it or swap sim depending.
e72 has EXCELLENT battery life, good voice nav, and is very good at txting/email(especially one-handed) n900 is much better for browsing, photos, multimedia, chat. Usually while I am on the road I am with e72, but evening or out on foot I am with n900. Both charge via microusb so only have to carry one charger. they both also use microsd, so I can take pics all day on e72, swap card into n900 before going out and email and upload pics from the pub with n900. anyway, that is my suggestion |
Re: need some advice on what phone to change to
if you are on t-mobile with your n900, nokia is releasing a tmobile friendly variant of the e72, the e73, quite soon, then you will have 3g on both.
When using my tmobile sim in e72, I have no 3g, but that just makes the battery last that much longer :) |
Re: need some advice on what phone to change to
I'm not sure I understand all this noise and buzz. Why not just connect your N900 to the car's power connector (cigarette lighter/charger port/etc) so that it doesn't run out the power?
On the other hand, maybe everyone is trying to get this person to regret purchasing a Nokia N900? tsk |
