N900 horribly slow at 3G, not 3.5G
 

Hi,

I have recognized that my internet speed at 3G is actually 5-20 kb/s.
To compare it, i've put my simcard into my old SE C702 and got 50-150 kb/s.
When i have 3.5G, speed is ok (100kb/s+)
Provider: Hutchison "3" Austria
Tried with and without power kernel.
Is this a hardware issue?
Anyone else with this problem?

Interesting - I've noticed a significant degradation in 3G performance (in London) since PR1.2.....I'm not sure if it's my Vodafone network though or whether it's a "World cup" lag?

WiFi latency is fine though.

How do you determine the bandwidth speed being used ?

It was the same as slow with PR1.1.1.
Tested speed with speedtest.at, speedtest.net and the speedy app.
