Re: [Announce] Google Voice client qgvdial is ready for testing
since the last update, v0.2.705
i cannot get it to login and/or access my gvoice. it just stays "logging in..." at the bottom. |
Re: [Announce] Google Voice client qgvdial is ready for testing
I like your new SETTINGS window. Kudos!
The only drawback that I can see is the "Debug Web View", "Logs", and "About" runoff the bottom of the screen upon expanding them. I don't know if you can scroll the setting window upwards as you are opening these three. It would be a nice touch. |

The scroll idea sounds nice - I'll look into it soon. A workaround right now is to flick the settings list after opening the debug view or the other options. |

New build: Bug-fixes and...
Meego/Harmattan build! The deb has been submitted to Ovi, but for the adventurous few who have an n950 or n9, I've also uploaded to the project downloads list. |
Re: [Announce] Google Voice client qgvdial is ready for testing
Are you planning to make any further attempts at handling the read parsing error on my GV account??
Or should clear my GV history? http://chass-wireless.com/york/Scree...712-221520.png |

Sorry about getting distracted by yet another "ooh shiny" toy. Can you do the following: 1. Quit qgvdial. Make sure it's dead: "killall qgvdial" 2. In ~/.qgvdial/qgvdial.ini, set LogLevel=5 3. Delete qgvdial.log 4. mv qgvdial.sqlite.db safe.qgvdial.sqlite.db 5. Restart qgvdial 6. It should auto-login and refresh the cache. If it fails at getting registered phones, post me the log. |

What are security Tokens? it asks me every time i try to login
I tried looking through the thread, maybe i'm unskilled or didn't look enough, but i tried and didn't see it there |

The first authentication is your google account password. When you login to Google, you enter your username and password. If you have set up two factor authentication, Google will then send you a "security token" that you need to enter into the login page. So: Have you set up two factor authentication? If not, please tell me more: how you got the error, have you got a google voice number associated with your account, how do you use qgvdial and so on. I'll probably need the logs as well (have a look at my previous comment). |
