There is no way at the moment but when you mount the SD card in maemo, you have root access to NITDroid.

I want to take a screenshot on Android. All screenshot apps require root.

Well i started doing the tutorial and in the part where i had to format the sd card it simply gave me an error and i was starting to get fustrated because i couldn't do it... but then i realized when i checked the back of my n900 and told myself:" It would be a lot easier if i used a microsd card instead of none ahahahhaha "

Hello

is there a way to install nitdroid along with the enhanced power kernels for... (titans kernel for overclocking in maemo)?

I managed to install Nitdroid on my SD-Card and I'am able to boot it by pressing 1. I can boot into default maemo by pressing 0 too but I can't change the kernel, therefore I cant overclock my device in maemo anymore. I guess I have to decide Nitdroid against overclocking options.

You can use power kernel. The guide explains how to do this but the required file is missing from the server.

You can get it from here though

Edit - instructions:

Download to MyDocs
Code:

cd /
tar xzvf /home/user/MyDocs/multiboot-power37.tar.gz

It should work with power40 but there is a lot of work involved. You get no extra functionality with it though so you might as well use 37 for now.
