[python] vibrator when call answered

I'm trying to make a python script that turns on the vibrator touchscreen pattern when an outgoing call is answered or disconnected.

I have some code posted in following thread;
http://forums.internettablettalk.com...3&postcount=13

but it seems as if all dbus signals for vibration are ignored when phone is active.
i tried activating the vibrator when the phone is active, then sending the signal but it doesn't work, or at least i'm not getting it to work...

i have zero coding experience, most of it is copy pasted / trial and error... but is it possible someone more experienced can take a look at it, and provide pointers?

Ok, update on this;
i ended up using dbus-scripts for this (much easier) and writing directly to hardware instead of dbus.

see this post for more info.

sorry forgot to include the chmod +x
but, how do you mean with start of call?
does it stop when call is answered?
for me it vibes just after the call is answered.

are you using this in de dbus-script setting:
Code:

/home/user/vibra_on.sh * * com.nokia.csd.Call Created
