Well tbh the DE UX isn't that bad, its just lacking decent Icons and it does tbh look a little bit iphone/android ish :(

Maybe thats just because im too used to Maemo 5 though :P

Yep fully agree that is why i ditched it faster than it took me to format an sd card lol, i reckon the graphics should be turned over to some of the school whizz kids to have a go at because to date i just cannot see this going anywhere.

The OP is braver than brave.

Yeah I think itd be a good idea to have some younger input 16-20 years old. I mean innovation comes from the younger generation right?

The previous generation's problems are usually solved by the next generation. The way the world works, especially in technology :P

The two directory patterns were incompatible and the first one didn't scale. A choice had to be made and that's the scalable version now seen on repo.meego.com.

Why build your own OBS when work and servers are underway for exactly these types of things in the combined MeeGo and maemo.org community OBS?

Besides that - if you want to make an alternative Hildon or LXDE UX on top of MeeGo Core or spin your own MeeGo deriative, go ahead!

This is what got me and i dont know what smoku felt but my god he could have at least thanked him for his efforts !.

NB i am really having to hold my fingers here because i don't think is a good idea to say what i want to say !.

Why? If you're using and you want to see Cordia go further then by all means thank smoku but I don't see anything obligating stskeeps to thank him.

If anything, he was outlining areas where smoku may want to align things with meego going forward (since that's what it's intended for) and to take advantage of the community OBS.

Good, because the stupidity would probably hurt people.

At least 5, on top of the others working on MeeGo core.

But you'd know that if you paid attention to the project instead of blindly badmouthing them.
