can i use this app to create contacts groups to which i can send SMSes. Like a friends group to whom i cna send an sms by just select the group name.. like how it works in S60 phones?

What will be fixed, the 'not starting' or saving group?. My phone is rebooted veryday, not by design but lack of battery power, so it is very annoying having to virtually re-install the app every day. On the plus side I do not lose the groups!

Although having the name on the thumbnail is a great idea it would be even better the names were also displayed on the applet. Especially for those contacts that I have had to manually assign a default thumbnail, at the moment I am looking at 8 contacts that all look the same.

Is there a way to automatically assign a default thumbnail?

I am looking forward to an implemented search feature.

I fixed the auto saving. The auto "restart" will come eventually.

I liked the avatars view with the title so much that I am planing to add to the desktop as well.

No....as soon as I add the text to the desktop avatars I will just allow you to assign contacts w/o thumbnail...

Just wanted to say thanks for all your efforts with this excellent app - this really underlines the value of N900.

I can't get the double-tap to work - might try to re-install, but otherwise this app is just what I was looking for!

Couple of ideas:

1) Could an option for Landscape/Portrait for the APPLETT be included? I mostly use the phone single-handed and the avatars and titles are at 90 degrees.

2) Could an option for larger avatars be included? I'd happily accept a 2 x 5 grid per group to enhance ease of use.

is there any chance that we can use the widget without the group bar on the left? i love the widget but i'm not using the grouping.. but i'd love to see many of my contacts on my desktop.

Let's say for now that is an idea that may be included... I first need to implement a real search and allow contacts w/o avatars to be included in groups.

sorry yeah i meant the contacts groups thing only.. thats the only thing that is keeping me from buying the phone..

Please make sure that you have the latest version and double check your settings. If the double click speed setting is not on medium, please change it to.

That is a first... Most people want them to be smaller so they don't need to use one entire desktop. Once I implement other layouts I will consider adding a larger version...
