On this release:
1. does not use "custom" backend anymore
2. work around skype/telepathy bug when starting an audio-call to a phone number

(*) this release will only work on PR1.3. or on PR1.2 with the latest version of libqtm-contacts.

Having no luck since going to 1.3. No contacts are seen in MyContacts.

my conf file doesn't have and an entry for Backend, i believe this was as a result of the new version removing the backend.

mycontacts : 0.9.2-1
libqtm-contacts : 1.0.2-maemo4+0m5

I am afraid your only option is to install mycontact from extras-devel. The version in extras is really old and it will take a very long time for the one I published today to make into extras - probably months if the past experience applies.

p.s. Unfortunately you will need to reassign your contacts to the groups.

Tested on reflashed pr 1.3 + emmc. All is good with the extras-devel binary!

hi fcrochik,
tried to install this version from extras-devel. it says conflict with my maemo 5 version. i am still in PR 1.2. Do i need to upgrade to PR 1.3 first?

I don't know if this has been requested before or not but here goes. I really really would like to see a widget which shows online(and away, but not offline) IM contacts only. Similar to the list what you get if you open nokia contacts application, click availability from and scroll to top. Maybe it could be one group in current widget. Scrollable and online contacts automatically updated.

Unfortunately I don't have how to be sure.... I have updated my only N900 to PR1.3. I wouldn't be surprised that this version does not work on PR1.2, if not for anything else, because the old one did not work on PR1.3. It seems that something on the new Qt is different about plugins.

If you are planning to update to PR1.3 first uninstall mycontacts, update to PR1.3 and then install mycontacts again.

Is there a way to keep the widget from disappearing when the phone is rebooted?
