LOL I added it to the package (as I maintain it) mate. Check the maintainer field next time :p

Edit, @ mokkey, it's just a port of http://packages.debian.org/lenny/gnome-nettool
I guess the best way to learn is to check examples, books proved to be quite boring for me.
