Skype not available on Indian variant-N900
 
Hi

I have purchased this N900 recently and i dont have skype pre-installed neither the skype website has an app for the phone that i can install seperately. And this is the case with every handset sold in India.

Please help.

Hey man...i baught it from bangalore.....i jus flashed my n900 with global firmware yestday....everythng is working fine....;)...

so go ahead and do it....and if u are thinkg about your warranty getting void,you can reflash it with indian firmware before u take it to nokia care....reflashing can be done in just 5mins.......:)..

let me know if u have any doubts

Can you please let me know the steps how to reflash it back to the indian firmware?

hey thanks for that i did follow what u said. BUT after flashing the phone it asks for unlock code for sim card until i flashed back to its orignal india format
