The GPS technology has contributed a lot to mobile phones/cell phones.Now, it's easy to have an access to the lost mobiles.The assets can be located.Usually, this is used to locate the exact or nearby position of relatives or the employees. :)

Yesterday i went for a burger with my friend. It's an old joint and we haven't been there for quite a darn while already. It's apparently still there and doing quite well. Serving burgers. Everyday.

Expedition to the Barrier Peaks is an adventure module written by Gary Gygax (pictured) for the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. While Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is typically a fantasy game, the adventure includes science fiction elements and thus belongs to the science fantasy genre. It takes place on a downed spaceship; the ship's crew has died of an unspecified disease, but functioning robots and strange creatures still inhabit the ship. If you're looking into how gps works, I'd imagine a brief stroll thru wikipedia will be beneficial. It should include enough starting links to follow.

For a more graphical explanation, perhaps Howstuffworks will be better.

If you're wondering about interesting gps usage on mobile phones, then do some google searches for android and iPhone gps/lbs apps.

Hi !

Thanks, I searched for the term mobile locator. I found it uses GPS software. There are also some other terms that are used in general like the child locator. What's the idea behind this? :confused:

Um, you do realise that this forum is for the discussion of devices using the Maemo O/S - the samsung 3310 does not use Maemo.

I think you'll need to find a forum for users of Samsung phones to find anyone to discuss this with. However, a quick search on Google appears to indicate that your phone has no GPS radio module.

This time I am doing a regular search on the gps locator devices.GPS maps are there to locate the position of place.This can make the travelling easier. :)
