Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
Just wondering if anyone had a video of the latest version of the emulator running a game like OoT or even Banjoo Kazooie.
I looked on youtube and there is none of the latest emulator so just wondering the speed differences. Thank you :D |

And will it give me the option to swap between both in the emulator? |
Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
just use filebox to move it into that folder but make sure in options root is enabled
its easy and takes 10 seconds and yes u can get options from within to switch between the two |

Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
Anyone some tips to get rid of the sigsegv signal error?
It's coming back every time when playing zelda (OoT & OoT MQ). It stops when loading a savegame. Zelda MM is playing, but too slow to be any good... I've used the settings in the SP. |
Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
@robnas download and install the glesn64 0.3 to play oot, its a couple of pages back
i am having great success playing many games and having a lot of fun on the train ride in every morning and evening ive customized controls in the input settings menu within mupen so that i can i move diagonally forward either left or right which is a must for any 3d platform or action game ive fiddled around with options like frameskip which at 3 makes many games run great vs when its at 1 i can play super smash brothers, no mercy, oot all full speed with sound at around 1ghz damn it feels good to own a n900 |
Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
@Yodawg:
I can't change any options, when clicking on settings, nothing happens... and how can I get sound working decently? I have tried PA64 and JttL.... but but are stuttering, JttL more than PA64. Only the JttL sound plugin is configurable, by the way. But OoT is working, albeit somewhat slow and stuttering! Thanks! |
Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
in the first page follow the instructions for changing frameskip to 3 from within xterminal thru a line of code command
it will make many games faster pa64 sound is good sound in bursts jttl sound is ok sounds continuously both have advantages and disadvantages but i usually stick with jttl performance is close either way |
Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
on the first page there is NO howto to change frameskip. didn't find it on google either, though. If it's within config, why can't I open that part? I can't change settings of video drivers. I really appreciate your help, but please, be somewhat more specific.
I've searched the first pages for more info about fameskip, without succes. |

Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
@lzzehO:
Well, I did something wrong, but it wasn't spending 12 seconds... I found it on the first page now, the problem was I've searched it with my N900, but searching on a page is so slow, it looks like it has stopped searching or isn't responding on input. So yes, It's partially my fault, but no, not because I'm so lazy and want a direct answer. But, nevertheless, thanks very much! |

That is strange, I just deleted my graphics plugin, downloaded it again and put it in the folder and it shows up so not sure why yours isnt. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Set the player name then press A to start game and...: The Core thread received a SIGSEGV signal. This means it tried to access protected memory. Maybe you have set a wrong ucode for one of the plugins. What I have to do? |

Re: How To: Nintendo 64 Emu for N900 <Now in Extras-Devel>
Hello all,
Every since I updated to PR1.3, I get SIGSERVER everytime I try to run any of my games. Everything is in the same place as on pr1.2 and I uninstalled, reinstalled, restored from a backup. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thank you all in advance. |
