Working Spotify Client ?
I can't find it anywhere Qspot wont login due to error

Re: Working Spotify Client ?
You can try footify which is in Extras-devel. If I remember correctly, Qspot relies on libopenspotify while footify relies on libdespotify so if there has been any big changes, libdespotify (as used by footify) might still work.

Re: Working Spotify Client ?
nope this has also failed 'Key Exchange Failed' @ login.
Full internet access - enabled / connected User credentials checked which are fine & checked i could login on the spotify website |
Re: Working Spotify Client ?
That sounds as if the Spotify crew has changed something again. A quick test with the latest libdespotify confirms this.
So, it's back to the same thing as last time: we all need to wait for fixes in libdespotify and libopenspotify. Hopefully it won't take long... |
Re: Working Spotify Client ?
Are you using premium account? Won't work otherwise.

Re: Working Spotify Client ?
I'm trying to use an open account. On the website it says open account can be used via mobile & on the move - i want to try the thing before going preimum and paying £10 a month out.

Re: Working Spotify Client ?
Please read the program description before posting a new thread, you NEED to have a premium account in order to get all available spotify mobile clients to function.
(You know you can buy a "day-pass" for spotify premium to try the different clients?) EDIT: Ignore that part about day-pass... |

Re: Working Spotify Client ?
So, I was apparently talking garbage earlier. My bad and sorry for the confusion.
I've verified that things (as in footify using libdespotify) work with a premium account, and nothing is acting up. (I was fooled by the error message, "Key exchanged failed", this has earlier, as far as I know, indicated problems on the protocol level.) |
Re: Working Spotify Client ?
Hey sorry for causing confusion with this - I now have a premium account.
Still not feeling the love for this spotify apps when you see some of the others available on even the clunky Symbian devices the ones ive had so far just don't feel very polished yet with niggles and bugs still apparent. |
