Re: Angry man...... This time, he's really angry...
Thank you Pantera i hope they see they cant hide the Truth also not by censorship ;)
Some Comments at the Blog about the Angry Man Topic sounding like they came from the Nokia PR: wampyre: July 16, 2010 at 5:02 pm He found out he lost his phone and can’t remotely wipe it, because it’s not a Nokia. He missed an important meeting because he didn’t check his email with OVI Mail. He forgot to bring his laptop and can’t present his powerpoints, because it’s not a Nokia. (But with USB OTG and TV out on N8 he can do this.) He was alone in the dark and it took time for him to get saved, but with a Nokia you can use your LED flash as a torch and are no longer alone in the dark. He forgot to backup his media files, because it’s not a Nokia. (But with OVI Share and OVI Files you have a safe place to store both your media files and important documents) He don’t have the application required to do his job, but with OVI Store he can easily find the applications he needs with the simplicity of a few clicks and pop, it’s installed. *edit* well at this time it seems like the censorship will have a sleep and now the last 10 comments are telling nokia why the man is angry for real.. |

I love my N900. It is much better than other alternatives for my needs, so I am not disappointed at all. I didn't know about Meego till January..so I was disappointed knowing that the N900 would be abandoned so quickly. But apps are coming and the device is a pleasure to use. So I am not complaining. As long as this community is around, the N900 won't be abandoned. But whether I agree or not, the fact still remains that Nokia deleted comments. The comments did not have adult themes or bad language, so no reason to delete them. I don't like this attitude and always believed that Nokia wouldn't do such a thing...till now.. |
Re: Angry man...... This time, he's really angry...
Does anyone know of any other device with as many disgruntled users as those demonstrated here?
This is even worse than iPhone 4, before the 'free bumper/full refund' offer! |

They have had most of the testing done for them and indeed we have helped shape the future requirements of some future devices but hey.... Don't get me wrong I am mostly satisfied with the N900 as I knew what I was getting my self in for coming from the NIT days but Nokia have had a bit of a public PR flogging by releasing without due thought/support to the masses. This PR disaster of the Angry Man is just a perfect setup for someone to vent in a very public Nokia Blog. It is all over twitter at the mo and gathering speed. Oh by the way most comments are now back by the looks of it, maybe Nokia do listen??? :0 |
