Re: Angry Birds High score table

Ah good to know. Yeah I've heard about the zero bird level 3-5 but I haven't been able to do it myself. How long after restarting do you have to wait? I've been waiting until the top green pig stops moving but the most that has happened is the top right gray beam falls. That's it.

And yeah I think 8-6 may be zero birdied too but the first bird can be worth more than 10k because of all the potential ice to break. There are alot of ways for the tower to fall though, so when it does, you have to hope for a favorable one.

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and found it while looking for high score info. I've been playing Angry Birds for a while now and am currently ranked #5461 in Game Center. I'm really glad to have found this community of Angry Birds addicts! :)

I am trying to reach 4.8 million in Episode 3 and am less than 100K away -- this is the final scoring achievement that I need! So I found the Google spreadsheet with the high scores and it has been really helpful to discover which levels I need to work on. I went through all of the Episode 3 levels on the spreadsheet and was even able to add a couple of my own scores as new highs (8-3 & 8-7). I hope it's ok that I edited it myself! If so then I'll have to go through the other episodes to see if I have any other high scores.

After I complete the 4.8 million achievement I will go back through the other episodes and try to improve scores there. Apparently the 17 million mark is a pretty major milestone, so I will shoot for that next, though I'm sure it will take a while as I'm just to 16M now!

That's pretty much it. There's no use waiting for longer. It just takes hours to get the level to co-operate. Literally. I suggest trying this level absent-mindedly while watching a movie or something...

Welcome muzikool! Have fun trying to break the records and feel free to ask for tips on levels that give you trouble.

Sidenote: 4.4M in episode 1. 2K away from Loki's last known total. I should improve 1-21, but I just hate the level with a burning passion

Edit: The christmas version is out for iphone. 1 level per day up to the 25th. The first 2 levels weren't hard to 3 star (I actually got it on my first try for the 2nd one), but the theme sure looks awesome!

I have started my guide. You can find it here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...SB1pN8BM/edit#

I'll try to complete it whenever I have the time. If you have any particular requests, I may include these levels before the others.
Let me know what you think about it so far ;)

Edit: I beat Loki's last known total in episode 1 by 100 points :p

This just happened to me today when I was comparing scores with a buddy. I loaded the level, showed him the score, he loaded the level on his phone and showed me his score.. and when I looked back at my phone it displayed "New highscore!" .. I got 109K+ :)

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Looking great so far! Keep up the good work. It took me hours to finally one bird 1-6. I really don't want to try again so I'm sticking with my high score of 44850. At this point, I'm now just trying to beat Rovio's top scores. Which brings me to my question. I've been trying your strategy for 1-7 for a while now and I can't get into the 46k's yet. I know it takes alot of luck, but the record you have written down is 47240 by screen, when in fact Rovio themselves have a higher score of 47290. I think you should include that instead.

http://www.facebook.com/angrybirds#!...27&topic=21214

Also, I'm about to upload all of my scores (subpar as they might be, even though they are all 3 stars). Is there a faster way to edit the fields so it shows the difference between my score and the records? Or do I have to manually enter, for example, =AY19-C19 in each corresponding block?

Wow, after I complete Score Addict for Episode 3 I need to go back and work through the Episode 1 levels. I don't own any high scores there. I was able to snag some in Episode 4, though. :)

Just enter the formula in the first field, then click on the little black square at the bottom right corner of the field box and drag it down

Edit: Since I got no level requests, I continued my guide following the order of the levels. Up to level 1-13 so far

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Found something new on 1-14! It is possible to hit the block of ice just right and topple everything on top. Got a new top score, 84,730.

That Angry Birds seasons update with one level every day until Christmas is probably the best present I'm going to get this year. The levels are a bit easy though (so far). Halloween at least took a few days to three star them all.

giggs 2010-12-05 19:14

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Nice find Perlman! I added it to my guide ;)

Speaking of which, I finished the strategies for world 1. I see that several people are browsing it, I hope they're finding it useful. This is the easiest world to describe strategies on, since most of them are 1 birders, and they don't require much explanation (except level 1-21, I hope I did a good job at describing the strategy).

I won't be making that much progress that fast with the other worlds, since I have some work to do and it'll be more complicated strats, but I'll do my best.

Scoring-wise, I beat miika's episode 2 total. I still have a handful of levels to re-do in world 5 though, so I'm not done yet. I'm also working on beating aayano's total for world 1. I'll need to stop procrastinating some levels there...

The angry birds seasons christmas level are beautiful... But as Perlman said, way too easy so far.

Although I can't get anywhere near 60K on 1-18, I easily score the 21K that you mention as a good target with the first two birds by changing the order. I think my highest was just over 23K.

Interesting... I'll try it out to check whether this has higher potential or not. Thanks for mentionning it!

Re: Angry Birds High score table

I now have a higher score and a different strategy for 1-12. I managed a 53960 with it. But I went to update the spreadsheet and saw planet366 already had a 54320 that hadn't been entered into the record column. I'll post the strategy when I beat his score.

::UPDATE::
So I altered my strategy AGAIN and this time its much more consistent. I've gotten several 53k+ a couple 54k+ and now finally a record 55,100. Strategy incoming.

Has anyone found the secret on Christmas world 1-7? Three stars is only around 60,000. My new high score is 104,620.

Re: Angry Birds High score table

1-7: 114,890 :p

To not spoil the surprise, aim the black bird on top of the last column of three big stones. Let it blow up on its own. If nothing special happens, restart and try again. When I did this there was only the snow and a single damaged stone block left.

WARNING:
I know the definition of insane is repeating the same task over and over again expecting a different result, but it may take 40-50 tries before anything happens. I'm still curious as to how exactly it DOES happen. Any thoughts Perlman?

Does anyone know of a guide for Angry Birds Seasons, Christmas Edition? Specifically how to one-bird levels 1-1 through 1-7? I actually have found the trick to 1-7, but have no idea about the others, although I have heard rumors they too can be done with one bird.

hey again guys
just seeing if anyone can beat 93,270 for the second crissy level?
or 91k for the eight one?

Re: Angry Birds High score table

There's an easter egg on this level. Diggidoyo mentionned how to do it. You need to send a black bird on top of the rightmost column (the one with 3 stone blocks) and let it blow up. Something special may happen then. If not, try again.

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Sorry its taking so long for the 1-12 strategy but I've been a little busy (workin 12's).

I wanted to upload a video but I suppose a text explanation will have to do for now.

1-12: 55,100
The first bird I arced high into the air. I put him directly between the two blades of grass near the slingshot before I released him. Then I split him slightly after the top of his trajectory, at about the top of the screen. PRACTICE THIS SHOT! This is important. Done right you'll score over 18k and pop one pig. Done perfectly, you'll score over 20k points (in the record I scored 21k+) Even if the top pig lives and you score 15-16k, that's also fine becuase the next shot will easily kill him.

Now the reason the first shot is arced high, is becuase you want at least two (if not all 3) of the split birds to land and STAY on top of the wood blocks. Becuase the next shot is fired at the first wood block and split slightly before impact. I put this one at the spot where the background sky changes from dark blue to light blue.

But here's the kicker: this second shot must be made ASAP. As soon as I split the first bird, I immediately scroll back and fire the next bird. This is to maximize the chance that the first trio of birds wont dissapear yet and fall down to pop the remaining pigs while the second trio damages some more blocks.
That's why practicing the first shot is so important. It must be fired and forgotten, and then your next shot released soon after.

I'll try to make a video for later but for now I hope that helps.

Regarding the easter egg explosion (which I'll refer to as 3xE) on xmas 1-7. I just got it to explode for me. I didn't get a score anything like giggs but an upgraded score none-the-less. The thing, is I think nnsbirds might be on to something.

I had experienced a similar explosion on another xmas level. I don't remember which level it was and where I hit because at the time I thought it was just a glitch/bug or some anomaly or maybe even I blinked funny. But after seeing it again on 1-7 I know that I saw it before.

So lets keep an eye out for these 3xEs

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Took a couple more cracks at 1-7 and I brought my high score up to 116,210! Also managed 93,880 on 1-8 but I don't think it's the best yet. I don't have access to the spreadsheet at work.

Could someone check for me what the current known record is for Halloween 1-1? I just scored an incredible 50,200 and as far as I know nobody has broken 50k before. I was just trying to top my own 48k and nearly everything broke.

As for your suggestion, FujiToast, I too share your suspicion that there may be more holy hand grenady spots in other levels. But the fact remains that its too rare to be relavent. Even when you know exactly the spot that triggers the event, it STILL takes a tedious amount of times to activate it. This means there's no point in actively searching other levels for it becuase you could be hitting the right spot but never do it. It's all about luck. Maybe one day one of your shots will trigger it in another level. Just try to remember what you did and share it. :)

I was lucky. I got 117k even on my first successful 3xE on 1-7 (see below). Does that give me a leading score, no matter how temporary it may be?

http://monkey.o1.com/~sandman/birds/Xmas_1-7.jpg

Anyway, for those that want to try it, flick it similar to what you see in that in-action capture above.

Re: Angry Birds High score table

Wow! Nice one! I'll keep trying but its very tedious. I've seen several people in another forum claim 120k+ and the highest number I've seen is a 121,080 but none of them come with picture proof so it's up to you if you believe them or not.

nnsbirds 2010-12-08 18:50

Re: Angry Birds High score table

I'm really interested in chasing down the elusive 3xE versions of Xmas 1-1 through 1-6...and 1-8 and beyond, if they exist. But without any direction of where to try, it is literally needle in a haystack. It was hard enough to accomplish in 1-7 even though I had a good idea where the 3xE was hiding.

Hey Diggi, yeah you've clenched it, I also had a 48k but giggs has 49k. Looks like you take it with 50k!

Also you beat my current top for xmas 1-8 by about 1k so you're in the lead there too!

Is the shared spreadsheet mostly accurate? If so, then I can claim 14 of the current high scores in Angry Birds Seasons: 4 in Halloween 1, 4 in Halloween 2, 3 in Halloween 3, and 3 so far in Christmas 1. I'll take my 15 minutes of fame before you all pummel me with even better scores. I'll post the screen snaps after my daughter goes to bed tonight. Going forward, I'll try to get a screen snap the moment a new high score is achieved so you can view the final destruction in addition to the score itself.

--edit--
It should be noted that all recent Angry Birds games were played on my iPhone 4. I wish I had the luxury and advantage of an iPad, but I don't...yet. I also haven't crossed-checked any of my scores from the original Angry Birds, all of which were completed on my old iPhone 3g.

Ok, it is admittedly a dead day at the office, so I punched them out now. Granted, a couple only best the spreadsheet record by a hundred or so, but I'll take it. Chances are you'll be less inspired to spend all the effort to reclaim a low margin victory. Regardless, here they are:

Note, I wish I could remember exactly what all went into these, but to be honest, I only recently stumbled onto this site while looking for more of what we have recently come to dub the Christmas 3xE tricks.

Again, top scores in the future will come with both a post-destruction screen capture as well as some direction as to how I achieved it.
