Picture when someone calls me
 

Hi Guys,

As you already know it's possible to apply a picture to each contact, that picture also appears when they call you.

Do you know, if it's possible to make that picture bigger?

Example, as the iPhone does it, fullscreens the picture when the contact calls you.

probably no because there are certain standard sizes for avatan with mfe etc...

I think the issue is that the picture size is defined in the Nokia 'phone' part of the phone, which is closed source.

I have got an idea though- I'll post back if I can sort it,

Shame. Would be nice to have full screen album art in media player as well.

if you happen to figure something out for this, i may just love you forever. it'll be something i can't consciously control.

Well, if you can force a picture onto the whole screen when someone calls (you can check that with dbus I think), it's doable.

I have no experience whatsoever with Linux... I can only hope D4rKlar can work something up within his genius-ness. :)

I'm bumping this since this is one of the few things I really want to see on the N900 at the moment

i would love to dont see the stupid nokia logo at boot(no not the boot video that is already changed)but its also closed source:(

A full screen caller ID picture would be awesome. For my E71 I downloaded FScaller app and it worked well, if we could get a similar app for the n900 then that would be pretty sweet!

Definitely! Had the same app on my N73 and N96 and it worked really well, I could customise the colours and even select an image for private numbers and stuff like that!

Would also love to see contact modifications. I would really like to see "Animated Contacts". Maybe have a short movie clip or flash clip or gif, all loop-able.
