GIMP for N800

It looks like someone ported Gimp to the N800. I saw this clip on youtube

It could also be a x over ssh application

Why would anyone want this? The gimp is hard enough to use on a desktop (albeit very powerful).

I wouldn't mind a streamlined version...

What most people miss is a much more simple application that would help them to resize/brighten/rotate... pictures from their cameras before they blog/mail them.

Try this one, it can do some of it (and getting better all the time):

Re: GIMP for N800

quiver works for me. I'm using it as a better photo viewer. Rotation doesn't seem to always work, it's possible to crash the program (it seems to be a problem with large, full-size images. Small ones work). But after some more testing it seems to still have some limitations that won't help for when you want to publish images: It can flip, rotate and zoom, but 'Save as' doesn't seem to be enabled yet. And the desktop version can crop images too I believe, but I don't see how to do that on the N800 version. In any case, as long as the result can't be saved it can't really be used for editing. But it is a _great_ image viewer! Much better than the built-in application.
