The wiring changes are CLOSED source, abill_uk wants the "community" to work for it, but it doesn't want to give back to the "community".

If meego is indeed coming to the n900, will it be fully adjusted to the n900? will it have graphics acceleration for example .
Thanks.

Is this like a full working version of meego for n900? because i read somewhere else that meego wasn't going to be officialy supported for the n900

texrat said " Specific to this thread, the valid point was raised: who is "community", and who is "us"? That's important for the OP to answer, since the general explanation is that they are the same. "
is he the only smart person who actually understood?

Real attacks will be moderated. So let's not have any.

Anyway, many in this community have done a great deal for the N900 and other devices... so the reason behind this thread is puzzling.

this is the attack

A very important part of Maemo is hildon-desktop. We have official word that Nokia stopped development on hildon-desktop:

You might not want to believe that development of Maemo has ceased, but it is still a fact.

he's a part of the community.. and us means him and the community
and the way you ppl twist his words, it feels like you're considering him selfish and starting more arguments..
and thats considered as an attack
and if thats a valid question, then its the dumbest one in the whole forum..
btw, did you fail english mate?

no THAT'S an attack.

it was a question, and far from the stupidest question in this forum, i believe that honour may go to the thread title. having passed all my english exams to an acceptable level (just so you know) i believe the precursors "who is" and "why" coupled with the question marks at the end were good indicators that it was indeed a question(s).
