MeeGo Running On N900 - New Video
 
Hey all,

New video of stock MeeGo running on the N900, looks nice and quick but really need to see what Nokia/Intel have planned interms of a custom UI for mobiles.

- If I do ever get Meego, changing that wallpaper would be my #1 step.
- I also don't like all the colors, give me dark + white + blue maemo style.

btw.
I do not understand those little guys what they chose to use as meego figures. Probably should represent how "fun", easy and also customizable meego devices are. But man. Sesame Street in drugs.

But. Looks promising. Going on currently on quite a pace (as it should :D)

Hopefully (according to rumours) we should see a release at the end of October.

You can already try it on http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/meego-codedrop.php - instructions at http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/N900/Install/MMC

Ideally wait for next weekly (wednesday-thursday) as it improves charging capability.

looks just as awful as every other meego preview!
and we all know its not gonna work properly until at least a year after release (as usual from nokia) but as long as they dont ditch it,
it should be a nice OS by 2013

Again Nokia will be using Harmattan-MeeGo on N9. Harmattan is not MeeGo product and was announced in 2008.
