i dont hate apple, i just don't like them. i'm not overly keen on iphone users either. i embrace new technology and products, i appreciate the iphone for what it is and what it can do, i embrace that it has pushed manufacturers to keep up with it and try and better it. i just dont like the way the users think they have the best phone in the world and that everything else is inadequate and not worth the time of day.

and the one overpowering fact and reason why i will never own an i phone.....

i refuse to sign up to a minimum 18 month contract AND pay for the phone on top of that, just for the privilege of owning a phone with an apple symbol on it, when i can get a phone just as good, or even superior for free. you do the math

I hope you are not seriously hating, based on an Onion Report, are you? :confused: If so, take the popcorn or the cheese, pour yourself a nice glass of something and continue enjoying your n900. Before we know we end up with threads "why onions hate apples".

I'm as cheap as they come, but it's difficult to argue the value of a dollar. I have a warehouse-full of hardware, but only my Mac Mini will see 60 hours of use every week. For the moment, I've converged on the desktop with a Core 2 Duo device that has a smaller footprint and is more silent than a single-core Atom-based netbook.

Well you could always get a previous generation iPhone from someone. Or just buy an unlocked latest iPhone (if they even sell them).

you should change the headline. I don't hate apple. I hate the people buying Iphones.

Especially if they riding a cartoon horse and singing: look at my phone. my phone is amazing, give it a lick mmm - it tastes just like raisins...

Hate is such a strong word, it's just not strong enough. Kidding. :) I'd use Apple if I felt it was in my best interest but, in the end, it's just not.
