Sony is being sued for this. I wouldn't call this theft just like piracy isn't theft. It is however, in my opinion, false advertising and disgraceful. Lets see what the judge in the USA thinks about this.

That actually shows a nice decrease in price for you while there is an increase in production costs for the developers as the games became more complex. That's because £45 then was worth more than it is today, so they're hardly robbing you.

The only thing removed was OtherOS, what else has been removed from your launch day PS3? I agree it was completely wrong to remove it but we know why it happened.

Online or Otheros was the ultimatum, funny thing is, your making the same decision now only for copied games which is now justifiable because you lost OtherOS for online play. The very thing you've chosen to lose now for copied games.

not strictly true as when my 60gig died last year. i opted to buy a new one for the extended warrenty. and kept my broke one in the loft for spares. then just last week managed to fix it using the (oven bake fix) so i have 2. 1for continued online service and my jailbroke ps3 for well future use. as playing copied games is no real advantage for me as i cant earn trophies :D for my account. but im hoping it will become the media center it deserves to be.

How to use backup manager?? Do we need to copy game in the folder or directly on the external HDD???

as u want
it should ask you 1st on external then if you answer no it'll ask you for internal one

No i mean to say where to put the Downloaded PS3 game.....
I copied it to external hdd but its not reading.:confused::confused::confused:

N also can anyone tell at which line dev_xxxx is coz its hard to find it. To modify psfreedom.ko coz its hanging???????????

edit the file on your pc usin a hex editer. then search for the line dev_
