Cant install the latest python, and when trying to install those i get incompatible package error.

I'd like someone could explain me the problem with the pyqt version.
I flashed firmware/emmc , install all applications i use from extra repositories... Everything was working fine...
So i enabled devel to install only two applications , hxmtracker and alarmed.
after that i can not start maegirls or wifieye (that are from extras) anymore.

I get :

how to fix this ?

The fix on those libraries has not been completed yet.

I assume you have enabled devel and used the newer libraries from there which are incompatible with the apps.

i enabled devel only to install maegirls and alarmed ... maybe one of these update the libraries without telling me :/

I will wait for the fix ... too tired to reflash again ...

ok , i reflashed ...
i dont even touch devel or testing repositories ...
installed only maegirls to see if it was working ...
same problem with python ...
Has extra repositories become not really stable ?

Yeah! I got the same result with apmefo. Now all apps using those libraries don't work. :mad::eek:

The same happens for me. I opened this thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=65532) because I didn't find this thread before (sorry). I've never used devel or testing apps. However, new python update makes my old apps fail.

Fixed!! install previous sip4 (4.10.5) and everything will work again
