SURVIVED: n900 flies across gym
 

hey guys

couldn't resist posting a feel good story here about the n900

whilst at the gym yesterday on a treadmill, i was plugged into my n900 with head phones flapping in the air as i ticked of the K's!

one slip of concentration and my arm swiped my head phone cable which launched the phone out of the holder, through the air and crashing on the wooden floor a few meters away

i hit pause on the machine thinking it would stop straight away, turned around, realised it was still going quite fast and disappeared off the back of the machine

the back cover came off the n900 and once sorted, i was amazed to see 'swipe to unlock' - which i did, and my mp3 track was still in full swing :)

one hell of a phone, one hell of an embarrassing moment for me

Tell that to the Iphone4 users lol. All they say is "Is that all you can say? My phone is better than yours. I got a free bumper" lol.

Min e flew out of my pocket whilst cycling the other day. Twice!

No scratches on the screen, a couple of bumps on the metal edge and this edge has also come away from the screen slightly along the bottom (Sees like it just needs to clip back in place but I've had no joy in pressing it back)

Still working fine...

Oh also tripped over the cable while I was charging the phone which ended up with me having the connector bent at a 45 degree angle, but no damage to the usb socket...

When N900 hits the floor, you'd rather have to worry about the floor. :D
