My N900 unable to charge and unable to boot...help!!
 

Dear all,
My N900 fail to boot....the behavior is like this when I press power button:
i. Nokia logo shown
ii.Orange color LED blink 3 times
iii.N900 shut down

Later when I change to RnD mode to boot and start HealthCheck, I can see that the battery information show 100% charged, current is 1mAH....what happen here??? Please help!!!

One more thing...before the phone goes down...the battery only left 1 bar

dead battery? borrow someone battery and try again

Hi,
Yes I use my brother's X5800 battery...still the same issue....anyone got any idea to reset the value in the battery....100% charge and 1mAH available as shown in the HealthCheck...I suspect this is the reason my phone wont charge!!!

Charge it only with USB and see if theres a difference, my wall charger was doing making my n900 do something similar. It died a week later (the charger).

Yup...already tried...I manage to get something via the command 'lshal -m'
where I can see there is
maemo.rechargeable.charging status = 'error'

is this the issue?

You could also try to charge the battery with you brother's phone?

Problem is...the phone won't boot....even with my brother's fully charge battery....I am going to cry ...
