Re: Sygic 10 update

Any idea when Ovi store will update to Version 10?

Sent e-mail to Sygic, but as always never had a reply.

Their support reminds me of Tomtom support - worse support team out there.

So if we already have Sygic 9, can we update to this for FREE?

Well, I havent got my n900 yet. but my mate has one and has Sygic 9 but its a cracked download from torrent. Can he still update to 10 for FREE? I prefer to buy the program so i know i wont have any problems and its still cheaper than buying a satnav. :)

Updated and had a play. Routing seems a hell of alot faster and scrolling is smoother between menus.
CPU is averaging about 10 - 20% which is a vast improvement.
Exit button does not seem to have moved but I have modded a few menu options so it may just be mine.
Overall very pleased so far.Sygic seemed to have listened to our many gripes especially the route calculation the improvement is 10 fold.

funny. I just upgraded, when running it puts me to through the initial installation screens but I end up having still version 8.16, as see in the 'about' option. Most obvious thing to notice I still have the old version is the location of Exit, on the second page.
Did anyone had to do something special ?

The Exit button didn't move and maybe they don't change version number :)
