I don't see why people are on this forum simply to propagate their own ideas and promote products as if anyone actually gives two squirts of p!ss. Go hang out on xda-developers, fight back and forth as to which ROM has substantially less bloat than the previous incarnation, use your device to its fullest potential (ha), and stop using this community as a platform for testicular fortitude exhibitions. Seriously.

Deprecated, you should have a long talk with yourself. I think you won't like your tone.

As opposed to the tone of countless others, who - for all intents and purposes - sit on this forum simply to say "lol, my android such-and-such is better, you guys are all scrubs, lol"? If something I said upset you, I suggest you read it again and decide where it was aimed. Moreover, having an actual conversation with myself (with myself actually answering) would denote clinical issues. I'm not crazy :<

Oh, that. I don't know how to disable that on Android. But if that is the only thing, and if it works in a secure manner, then that isn't a backdoor which provides root access.

Now maybe there is a clean build of Android that has absolutely no links to Google code but even if there is, it's doubtful that most users would even check or flash it.
What do you mean with 'Google code'? There are Android firmware available without proprietary Google software. Some of the open source code written in Android is written by Google, but that is not something evil.

Lol. Someone who uses an embedded device like N900 to compile applications on is a serious fail. This is what Scratchbox is for.

Tons of computers cannot out of the box compile applications. Almost no embedded computer can (they're not made for that purpose).

And seriously, who would want to compile on N900 w/o it being connected to power source. There goes mobile. Might as well use a stationary device.

IOW, the fact you can compile software on your N900 is a minor feature at best, and it doesn't define the N900 to be a 'mobile computer'.
