hi guys
i dont know what is wrong but since yesterday i cannot access ovi store.it opens a web page saying that i have to update my device...so i was doing but no maemo 5 app was found???

no, i was adding few well known repositories and thats it.this is really strange cause in a space of few days i got couple of updates of different apps but havent noticed maemo 5

are you sure you didn't edit the user agent?

Check out the Settings from your phone for the user agent and reset the agent to it's default state

have reset the original settings on my device and still nothing.ivw got a message that my device is not supported

i have ovi icon with all the apps installed.when i click on it the window appears with instruction how to update my nokia.obviously nothig happened thereafter

You're trying to go into the ovi store via the Maemo default browser, right? Try using a different one, such as FireFox...

are you trying to get into ovi store by a bookmark on your 900,,perhaps if you delete that one and use www.ovi.com from your browser then click on the apps link,it should recognise your n900...

exactly it doesnt help at all.i try to get access to ovi store through opera and deafault browser and all the times i end up with info that my device is not supported

can you connect to pc or laptop with ovi suite installed,if so check for updates or you can re-install the same firmware,i have done mine twice and didnt lose any music,videos photos, but you will need to reinstall some apps ..its an easier way than flashing the phone with maemo flasher..
