Thanks for the link. However, I don't like the way it presents the championship. It fails to give readers a big picture of what N900 is winning.

I made my own announcement poster. Hope you like it and comment is welcome. ^^

I'm curious about one thing... how do you all feel about this win. Pretty damn somber so far.

I expected turned over cars, near riots... you know, stuff that would be cool to see and witness. Hell, perhaps a bit o' looting.

it is the power of voulenteering as Vanjoki described it. maemo community can be proud of its archievement.

besides talking about cheating with online polls.... ask for example from the author of this page: http://lapsiporno.info/ (childporn.info, criticism for finnish child porn filter that is totally fckd up, delayed, filtering possible political content etc...)
how reliable online polls really are...

Pretty much what I suspected at the very beginning, that Fone Arena didn't really expect N900 to win. If you look at the original rundown jpg, it's named: android_cup_bracket15a_thumb5.jpg

They can also be alluding to the fact that half (8 out of 16) of the contestants are Android based.
