No display for incoming call
 
Hi folks,

i have upgraded to PR 1.2 recently, i have a problem when i get a call, there won't be any display it only ring's and vibrates, but when if slide out the display comes.

Help me

Have you installed apps/widgets/applets/tweaks etc. from testing, devel or from webpage or message attachement. Basically outside of official extras and nokia repositories?

It's a bug introduced in PR 1.2. MohhamedAG's update for Hildon-Home fixes this, just search for "faster scrolling in application menu" and download the fix!

No i haven't installed anything out of repositories.. i had only updated with PR 1.3..

PR 1.3 isn"t even out yet so I think you have installed PR 1.2.This means there wont be any problems.

Ok, remembered it wrong (as I apparently also did with your name...), but I dont think it actually makes that huge difference since there isn't really any updates to hildon-home named faster kinetic scrolling in app menu.

Asuming this is what is wrong with your phone, check out:

A brief summary of the bug:
Problem seems to occur when sunlight falls on the proximity sensor, this confuses it into thinking the phone is still in a pocket and prevents the screen from becoming active. It is made worse by a screen protector.
The cure is to flick the lock slider to activate the screen.
It's a hardwae bug, it's also nothing to do with PR1.2

I think issue is fixed in PR1.3. Tested with couple of calls but it didn't happen.

Was used to happen with PR1.2
