I hope not.

I mean the netbooks.

Ok, that was an epic fail. Hints or no hints, Re-welcome back.

Thanks Sandlord.

I think adding netbooks is a logical move for Nokia, and I believe their size and scope will allow them to undercut the competition. I would not be surprised to see some flavor of maemo OS on them...

Its a slooooow netbook if you really want to call it one. I was banging around on my friends s10 lenovo and thought that it might be time to bite with them being around $269 on the interwebs. There is a use case for them somewhere in between my n810 and my Mac Pro.

Good luck with the job search Texrat.

No no Benny-- a true netbook with the same form factor used by HP, Asus, et al.

The netbook rumors intrigue me more than just about anything else going around right now. If my suspicions are correct, they would be one of the best shots I have at finding work again... after 6 months of looking and 4 months on unemployment...

After seven and a half months looking, and five and a half months actually out of work, I finally received an offer. I'm taking a few days to consider it. But thank God it's there!

Hopefully, meaning mine's right around the corner. ;)

Congrats, Texrat. Just remember, it gets a lot harder to keep looking for a better job once you go back to work, so be reasonably sure this is where you want to be for the next while... (but I'm sure you know this)

Thanks qole, but I may have no choice-- I have to go back to work. Now. However, there's a slim chance of a competing offer. Anyway, gotta do what I gotta do.

it's always easier to get a job when you have one! congrats, and I hope it's a job which, if not massively enjoyable, will be at least pleasant and useful. I hope new employers won't see you as cheap/desperate labour.
